We at the Vintage Piano Shop, in conjunction with the Dyersburg Piano Company, Inc., offers rebuilding, refinishing, and complete restoration of heirloom pianos, player pianos, organs, and related instruments for customers nationwide.  Our experts strive to maintain the integrity and craftsmanship from which these instruments were built, with an emphasis on historical preservation.

All of our vintage pianos get a "frame off" restoration, making everything like new again inside and out,  These photos show a Story & Clark Arts & Crafts        upright piano, Circa 1912, undering restoration.

When we restore these vintage pianos, our goal is to make each instrument as close to ORIGINAL “like new” condition as possible.  Not only are our restored pianos stunning pieces of furniture, they are also functional, durable instruments that can be handed down for generations to come.

We always restore our pianos with a historical perspective in mind.  Historically correct stains, lacquers, and finishing techniques are all incorporated to achieve the finest, most accurate period restorations possible.

Piano & Organ Restoration Price List: Below is our general price list for piano and organ restoration. These prices are based on instruments in average, unrestored condition, and are subject to change depending on the degree of deterioration of your instrument. These prices do not include shipping. Tennessee residents must add applicable sales tax.

 
   
· Complete upright piano rebuilding, including refinishing & restringing                                        $5,500 - 8,500.00
   
· Upright player piano rebuilding, including refinishing & restringing $10,500.00 - 13,500.00
   
· Square grand piano restoration, including refinishing & restringing $12,000.00 - 13,000.00
   
· Parlor organ restoration, including refinishing $3,500.00 - 5,500.00
   
· Baby grand piano restoration, including refinishing, restringing, & restoring original soundboard $8,500.00 - 9,500.00
   
· Large grand piano restoration, including refinishing, restringing, & restoring original soundboard $9,500.00 - 20,000.00
   
· Large grand piano restoration, including refinishing, restringing, & installing a NEW soundboard $15,000.00 - 25,000.00
   
· Computerized player mechanism installation                       $5,800.00
   
· Computerized player mechanism installation
